Tortoise Shell
Efficacy: Nourishes Yin and suppresses Yang, benefits the kidneys and strengthens bones, nourishes blood and replenishes the heart.
This product is suitable for treating tumor patients with Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity, and is effective for liver cancer, lung cancer, kidney cancer, breast cancer and nasopharyngeal cancer.
All patients had therapeutic effects.
Modern Pharmacology:
Tortoise shell contains aspartic acid, threonine, calcium carbonate, methionine, alanine, leucine and other ingredients. Modern pharmacological research shows that deficiency of threonine, aspartic acid, leucine and other ingredients can cause atrophy of the animal's thymus and spleen, leading to immune deficiency. Some studies have suggested that the anti-liver cancer effect of tortoise shell may be achieved by restoring the body's immune function through amino acid supplementation to inhibit the proliferation and invasion of cancer cells.
In addition, tortoise shell is rich in various amino acids, which can regulate the immune system and promote the phagocytic ability of macrophages. To a certain extent, it can accelerate the postoperative recovery of liver cancer patients and reduce the damage of radiotherapy and chemotherapy drugs.
Decoction method
The efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine is not only related to the type of dosage form, but also closely related to the preparation process. Since decoctions are the most commonly used dosage form in clinical applications, and most of them are homemade by patients, in order to ensure that clinical medication can achieve the expected therapeutic effect, doctors will explain to patients the correct decoction methods and precautions when prescribing. This includes utensils, water volume, soaking, heat, time, number of times, etc. However, some Chinese medicines have different properties, performances and clinical uses, and require different decoction times. They may need special treatment, such as decocting first, adding later, decocting in a wrapped form, decocting separately, melting and taking with water.
How to take the medicine
Oral administration is the main route of administration of traditional Chinese medicine in clinical practice. The effectiveness of oral administration may be affected by the following factors, including the time of taking the medicine (on an empty stomach, before meals, after meals, etc.), the amount of medicine taken (two or three doses per dose), the temperature of the medicine (hot or cold), etc.
