Know more about Accredited Produce

Accredited Produce vegetables are vegetables produced under the Accredited Farm Scheme.

In 1994, the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department and the Vegetable Marketing Office jointly implemented the Accredited Farm Scheme to encourage farmers to use pesticides correctly and safely and to use good and environmentally friendly methods for farming. As of March 2019, there are 311 reputable farms (approximately 85 hectares of arable land) in Hong Kong.

The Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department grants Accredited Farm qualifications to farms that comply with good farming methods and the correct use of pesticides. The Accredited vegetables produced by these farms are sold to designated market stalls under the brand "Good Farmer" registered by the Vegetable Management Office. For more information on the promotion and marketing of Accredited products, please visit the Vegetable Marketing Office website.
