"Pretty Sister (Chiu Je) Academy" hopes to work with the public to use local knowledge and technology accumulated over the years to preserve and promote traditional life culture and folk wisdom that have been gradually marginalised by social development through workshops, so that they can gain public attention and recognition.
"More, faster, better, and cheaper" seems to be the success indicator in today's business society. Traditional handicrafts that emphasize flexibility and practicality are gradually being marginalised from the market by the low-cost, high-efficiency, and streamlined production model. In order to let the public further understand the craftsmanship and wisdom of these industries, Qiaojie School invites industry masters to share Hong Kong’s traditional food and history and culture, and understand the folk wisdom, meaning and value behind it; at the same time, the masters will work with participants to make hands-on dishes that will make the locals Cultural craftsmanship can be passed on.
We bring different crafts and traditional crafts into different communities and spread the craftsmanship. Participants can not only understand the experience of the masters and learn the skills of traditional crafts through the workshops, but also use their creativity to inject design and artistic ideas into traditional crafts.

From farm to campus
"Culture", "Conservation", "Education" to "Cultural Conservation Education"
In recent years, the three projects of "culture", "conservation" and "education" have been promoted by the Education Bureau through mass media introductions. Various civil groups have carried out related organizational and educational work in an attempt to change the single trend of overall urban development from the bottom up. We hope to work with school teachers, educators, craftsmen, and community workers to develop community education programs and teaching blueprints.
Target: Primary and secondary schools (Visual Arts/General Studies/Chinese Language)
"Pretty Sister School" provides on-site services or at our farms in Kam Tin and Tai Po. The workshops are suitable for people aged 6 or above (younger children aged six or below can only participate with one parent accompanying the child) ). Organic farming
Today's agriculture, in order to increase production to meet large market demands, does not hesitate to use a large amount of chemical fertilizers and toxic pesticides, resulting in air, water and soil pollution, while also damaging the environment and affecting ecological balance. The horticultural farm is committed to promoting ecological balance and environmental protection, adhering to organic and natural methods of farming, and does not use chemical pesticides and chemical fertilisers. We also use organic farming practices and techniques as a strategic method to prevent pests and provide healthy and safe organic agricultural products to the public.
