Food-Co 聖雅各福群會healthy express

St. James’ Settlement launched the FOOD-CO platform in May 2017 to enable stakeholders including food donors and food aid service agencies to share information on food supply and demand and related services. In May 2025, Food for You Healthy Organic Shop joined the FOOD-CO Corporate Partner Program, working with different companies and small shops to promote food conservation culture, share social resources, and support food assistance services.

Significance
About 1,650,000 people in Hong Kong go hungry every day, and about 1,254,505 tonnes of food is wasted every year.

Reduce our inventory, improve the freshness of the food we purchase, shorten the inventory period, reduce our frozen food inventory, increase energy saving; and allow low-income families to enjoy high-quality, fresh food. Encourage eating more fresh, seasonal, locally produced and organic fruits and vegetables.

"Creating Shared Value" is a new strategy and also ESG (Corporate Social Governance). By donating food, we can enhance corporate image and brand value, increase high-end consumers and bring profitable business models, and respond to social challenges. For responsible enterprises, this is a new business model that benefits people from different social classes and enhances the company's brand image of "giving you health" (餸您健康).

How to Make order
