There are many types of avocados. The most common avocado variety on the market in Hong Kong is Hass. Most of them come from Mexico, but also from Australia and Chile. This variety is suitable for growing in different climates, so it is not difficult to buy it all year round. The appearance of Hass is characterized by dark color, oval shape, and thick, uneven and rough skin. The flesh is light yellow and tastes like cream. When cut open, you can see the round fruit.
