Tips for using pesticides


  • Use pesticides correctly and safely;
  • Keep away from children;
  • Avoid contact of pesticides with skin, eyes and clothing. If pesticides accidentally splash into eyes or stain clothing, rinse immediately with plenty of water. If the pain persists, seek medical attention immediately;
  • Avoid using the same pesticide for a long time, which may cause pests to develop resistance;
  • Pay attention to the time of application, and avoid spraying pesticides at noon or when the sun is strong; (Spraying pesticides in a humid and hot environment may cause crop burns)
  • Avoid excessive spraying of pesticides, and decide whether to use pesticides according to the field conditions; (Excessive use of pesticides may affect the field ecology or cause pests to develop resistance)
  • Before using pesticides, carefully read the instructions listed on the pesticides, such as dosage and concentration;
  • When preparing and applying pesticides, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as work clothes, rubber gloves, rubber boots, masks, goggles, etc.;
  • The introduction of natural enemies requires the "Insect Pest Import Authorization" issued by this Department. For details, please contact the Plant and Pesticide Supervision Division.
