Silica gel is a non-toxic silicon dioxide desiccant in small bead form. Commonly found in food, medicine, and electronics packaging to prevent moisture damage. Labeled “DO NOT EAT.” Some types change color (orange → green) when saturated.

PA silica gel desiccant is insoluble in water and any solvent, non-toxic, odorless, and chemically stable, reacting with no substances except strong alkalis and hydrofluoric acid. The product quality fully complies with RoHS, REACH, and other environmental requirements, and meets Chinese chemical standard HG/T2765-2005, containing no DMF (dimethyl fumarate) or other harmful substances. Furthermore, silica gel is the only desiccant certified by the US FDA for direct contact with pharmaceuticals and food.
