What is Halal food? 🔎

Hala not just for Muslims, but a safe choice for anyone who values food safety and quality

Halal food refers to food permitted under Islamic law.

Food Source: The animals used in halal food must be permissible under Islamic law. For example, pork is strictly prohibited.

Slaughtering Process: The slaughtering process minimizes the suffering of the animal. For example, sharp instruments are used to quickly sever arteries to ensure a quick and humane death.

Production Standards: The entire halal food production process must be clean and hygienic. Contact with non-halal foods, such as pork and alcohol, must be avoided to maintain the purity of the food.

Halal certification

The approval process for halal certification is very rigorous, requiring compliance with Islamic regulations regarding slaughtering, cleaning, cooking, and even the kitchen utensils used. Certification is also divided into several levels, depending on whether the restaurant's kitchen prepares both halal and non-halal food, and chefs and kitchen staff require specialized training.
