In the 1930s, the founder Mr. Jiahou left his hometown of Xinhui Village in Guangdong Province and settled in Singapore. Since then, he opened a shop, the main place of business is at 30 Smith Street, supplemented by the manufacturing plant at No. 857-8, No. 17 Lorong, Geylang Road


On February 6, 1971, the manufacturing plant moved to Lorong Ayam Beroga, where the company celebrated its 41st anniversary. The fourth-generation management of the Chia family expanded the company's expansion by setting up a manufacturing plant in Malaysia (Johor) to meet the growth of local and overseas market demand.


Our quality commitment began decades before the quality certification. Chuen Cheong Food Industries Pte Ltd passed ISO9001:2000 certification in 2000, then upgraded to the 2008 version, passed HACCP in 2009, ISO22000:2005 in 2012, and bizSAFE in 2012.
