Double Coconut Water (also sold as coconut water with flesh / coconut water with pulp) is a two-in-one product: the clear, lightly sweet liquid from young coconuts, plus tender white coconut meat taken from the same fruit. The “double” name highlights that you get both the juice and a generous piece of real coconut, not just flavoured water or tiny pulp specks.

Unlike ambient boxed coconut water, this style is typically hand-shucked in Thailand and frozen quickly to keep the fresh aroma. The clean-label claim is simple: no additives, no colouring, no flavouring, no preservatives. Taste is closer to cracking a young coconut at the table.


Taste and nutrition
Coconut water is mostly water with natural sugars and electrolytes (especially potassium), so it is a light hydrating drink. The flesh adds chew, fibre and coconut fat, making the pack more substantial than water alone. Together they give a clearer coconut aroma and a dessert-like texture.


How to use

  • Drink: Thaw in the fridge and serve cold. Sip the water, then eat the meat—or blend both into a slush.
  • Dessert: Pair with sago, mango, red bean or pomelo; or set as coconut jelly.
  • Hotpot / soup: A popular Hong Kong use—pour in as a lightly sweet, non-greasy broth base.
  • Cooking: Use in curries, coconut rice, or coconut chicken; the meat can also be stir-fried or served in salads.


Storage
Keep frozen at -18°C or below. Do not refreeze after thawing, or the water can turn cloudy and the flesh can lose its bounce. Consume soon after opening. Not suitable for anyone with a coconut allergy.

Buying note
This is a frozen whole-flesh product. It is different from shelf-stable “coconut water with pulp” cans, which often use small jelly-like pieces and may include sugar or sulphites. The appeal here is Thai origin, real peeled coconut meat, a clean ingredient list, and flexibility as drink, dessert or soup base.
