Our Story


The "Simple Life Hut" in Yim Tin Tsai, Sai Kung, is the ancestral property of Principal Chan Zi Leung (hereinafter referred to as Principal Chan). "Simple Life Hut" was transferred to the Yim Kwong Conservation Center (hereinafter referred to as Yim Kwong) for management, and now "Simple Life Hut" has been transferred to the service project of the Simple Life Group under the structure of Yim Kwong.

At the beginning of 2020, due to age and place of residence, Brother Au officially entrusted the hosting role of "Jian Si Ju" to Mr. Lau Wing Kai (天鳥 / formerly known as 知秋) and Lau Wing Ching (劉文清) (Clear Water) (Heads of the 情意自然心聯部落) .

In March 2020, Sky Bird and Clear Water (天鳥、清水) convened friends of "Simple Life Hut" and friends from all walks of life to form a core construction volunteer group to enrich and update the future development blueprint drawn by District Brother in 2017, and work together to carry out renovation, maintenance, renovation, building.

Adhering to the theme of simplicity, nature, and spirituality of Brother Au, on November 1, 2020, we launched the "Datong Small Base Construction Fundraising Plan", calling on friends of Simple Life Hutto contribute money or effort, and use the least amount of money to operate in the spirit of joint construction , build environmental facilities that can serve more people, and realize the vision of Datong proposed by District Brother as early as 1988. In order to enable the sustainable development of "Jianpuju", Tianniao and Qingshui have injected the spiritual concept of social enterprises, and arranged some courses and activities of the newly created Affectionate Nature Co., Ltd. (also known as: Affectionate Nature Xinlian Tribe) in Jianpuju , and part of the proceeds of Xinlian Tribe from Jianpuju will be donated to the construction and maintenance fund of Jianpuju. This idea has the support of President Chen and Brother Qu.

In short, Simple Life Hut is affiliated to Yim Kwong, hosted by 天鳥 (Sky Bird) and 清水 (Clear Water), and promoted by the Nature Dao Tribe (種籽行者– 情意自然心聯部落 https://naturedao.org). It will be given priority to related groups/persons*, and open to groups/persons from all walks of life who are interested in experiencing a simple life. In addition to regularly holding "Labor Construction Day" and "Simple Life Experience Camp", Jianpuju will develop an experience base of "simplicity, nature, spirituality, affection, life, diversity, sharing, peace, and beauty" to realize the vision of Datong.
