Samai's founder, Joyce, is the daughter of a resilient woman from Sukhothai who witnessed firsthand the waste and vowed, "To let the world taste the flavors of Sukhothai."
A Year Rooted in the Land
Carrying her mother's hopes, Joyce returned to Sukhothai, immersing herself in the fields and working alongside farmers. She learned to identify the optimal ripeness of each fruit, recorded the harvest season for longan, and personally researched food export regulations in various countries, building a cross-border supply chain from scratch. This experience profoundly taught her that true deliciousness comes from the most sincere respect for nature.
The Birth of Samai: The Art of Freezing Freshness
Thus, the "Samai Freeze-Dried Fruit Series" was born. The brand name is derived from the Thai word for "era," symbolizing bringing the spirit of traditional farming into the modern era. Joyce personally visits each partner orchard, using only fruit ripened that day, and freeze-drying it at -40°C to lock in its original sweetness. Except for strawberries, which are slightly sweetened due to their natural acidity, all products are free of preservatives and artificial colors, ensuring every bite is the authentic taste of Thai sunshine.
