Farm Eco Island is an Eco-Farming Certificated Farm of the Society of Humanity And Natural Research. As a conservation agricultural zone, there are plenty of International (IUCN Status) and Regional (China Red List) threatened species living in harmony with our farming habitats.
With our natural farming technic and respect for Mother Nature, crops and wildlife are building a balanced Eco-system. (Terroir) are remarkable inside Farm Eco Island. Biodiversity keeps improving, and soils are healthy and full of wildlife.
Compare with rich fertilizer and hardworking water management practices, Farm Eco Island is keen on raising Natural Crops. We hope you will enjoy the wild favors’ which wild healthy vegetables are supposed to be or even their hidden favors.

🛍 Activity Information：
Learn about the ecology of rivers, streams and wetlands in Nomad Terrance and Bee Bee Farm/Farm Eco Island using popular science and ecological survey methods.
In addition to briefly understanding different ecological animals and plants, you can also participate in the wetland restoration work on site with ecological conservation experts, including planting native aquatic plants, creating micro-habitat, and sustainably growing local freshwater animals (fish, snails, and shrimps) Ecological and nature-related educational activities such as breeding, reintroduction of freshwater turtles in South China, and long-term ecological monitoring.

Workshop location: Farm Eco Island & Little Bee Farm (Ching Tam, Kam Sheung Road, Yuen Long, New Territories)
Feel the power of stones and the endless creative possibilities in the camp’s stone play space. Activities include collecting local natural stream rocks in the camp’s streams and learning about the camp’s unique geology and rocks.
• Wear comfortable long-sleeved clothes and sneakers (hiking shoes are preferred)
• No catching or harming any animals or plants
• Never act alone, always stick with the team
• Do not make loud noises so as not to disturb other people and the natural environment
• Choose flat paths and avoid walking into trees or overgrown areas
• Suitable for: 10–16 years old
• Please bring enough water, sunscreen, and supplies for rainy or sunny days
• Please wear sports casual clothes and sneakers/hiking shoes
• The above itinerary will be adjusted due to the weather and environment at the time of the event, but all changes will be based on the safety of the participants
