🛍 Product Information (Main) (English)：

What “grenaille” means

It is a caliber, not a cultivar. Any suitable red-skinned, firm-fleshed potato graded small can be sold as red grenaille. When harvested early they overlap with new / primeur potatoes; later in the season the same small red tubers keep the grenaille name.
Look and taste

Small, often oval. Thin red skin that needs only a scrub. Flesh is usually white to pale yellow, waxy to firm, melting after cooking, with a mild sweetness and less heavy starch than large storage potatoes. Skin crisps well in a pan or oven.
Nutrition and storage

About 76 kcal per 100 g, with useful potassium and vitamin C and very little fat. Store cool, dry and dark; use promptly—thin skins do not keep like mature potatoes.

How to cook

Do not peel. Roast or sauté whole with butter or olive oil, thyme, garlic and coarse salt until the skins brown. Steam or boil first if you want a shorter fry. Serve with roast poultry, meat or fish, or toss warm with herbs and a little vinaigrette. The red skin gives a brighter plate than yellow grenaille.
