Bulk Purple Haze Carrots refer to wholesale or large-quantity supplies of the Purple Haze variety, a groundbreaking F1 hybrid carrot that was the first imperator-shaped (long, tapered) purple carrot. It won the 2006 All-America Selections (AAS) Edible Vegetable award for its exceptional qualities. The roots are smooth, 7–12 inches (18–30 cm) long, tapering to a point, with a deep purple to reddish-purple skin often showing subtle orange striations, and a vivid bright orange core inside. When sliced, they reveal a stunning purple halo surrounding an orange center, making them highly photogenic and popular for gourmet presentations. 

The texture is crisp, tender, and juicy with a refined, sweet flavor enhanced by nutty, earthy notes—excellent raw or cooked (best color retention when eaten raw or lightly/quick-cooked; prolonged boiling may cause some purple fading). High in vitamin A (from beta-carotene in the orange interior) and anthocyanins (from the purple skin) for added antioxidant benefits. Ideal for salads, crudités, stir-fries, roasting, or as a vibrant side dish.
