Durian variety: Blackthorn

The most expensive durian (and it is the solely one), durian is called "the king of fruits", and black thorn durian is called "the king of fruit kings".
Appearance: Named for the black tips of the spiny protrusions on its outer shell.
Color: The shade is more yellowish with bright orange undertones.
Taste: Excellent sweetness and mouthfeel, the pulp is creamy, slightly sticky and almost fiber-free. The palate is sweet, with a slightly bitter finish like XO durian, the palate is layered and varied, intense but not so persistent.

"HITAM" means "black" in Malay, and "DURI" means "thorn", which refers to the black thorns of the black thorn variety durian.
Black Thorn is higher than the Musang King introduced earlier, and can be called the "King of Kings", and even has the reputation of "Gold on the Tree" due to its high price, making the status of Musang King, who is loved by millions, insecure 😂
No matter in color (near orange-red)/flesh (almost no fiber)/taste (creamy), it is richer than Musang King, but because of the production (mainly located in Penang, Malaysia), it is less rare and most of them are Purchased by the rich/royal family, so not as prestigious as Musang King.
There is a saying that "you only hear its name and never taste its taste", which shows that black thorns are very rare. If you have the opportunity, you must try this "king of kings"!

Nutritional value: Durian is a kapok plant. Sweet and hot in nature. It has the effect of warming tonic, warming menstruation and promoting qi. Durian has a high sugar content, which can provide calories to the human body and replenish physical strength, but it should not be consumed in excess to avoid weight gain.
