エブリコ酸（KEGG C14495）を主要成分として含む。

マツホド（松塊）とはサルノコシカケ科の菌類の一種。学名は Wolfiporia extensa（シノニム: Poria cocos ）。アカマツ、クロマツ等のマツ属植物の根に寄生する。

菌核は伐採後2-3年経った切り株の地下15-30cmの根っこに形成される。子実体は寄生した木の周辺に背着生し、細かい管孔が見られるがめったには現れず（外部リンク参照）、球状の菌核のみが見つかることが多い。

This combination of *Heliotropium indicum*, *Poria Cocos*, *Lysimachia christinae*, and *Ganoderma lucidum* is an excellent heat-clearing, liver-protecting, and spleen-strengthening soup combination. It is particularly beneficial for those who frequently stay up late, consume excessive amounts of alcohol and tobacco, experience high stress, or suffer from dry mouth and bitter taste. This formula effectively clears the liver and detoxifies, strengthens the spleen and removes dampness, and promotes urination to expel damp heat from the body.

If you wish to use this ingredient to make soup, you can refer to the recipe for Lingzhi Liver Nourishing Soup and add meat to stew: Ingredients: appropriate amounts of chicken bone grass, poria cocos, moneywort, and lingzhi slices. You can also add lean meat or pork pancreas (about 500 grams), 2 honey dates, and 2 slices of ginger.
