Distributed in Asia and Europe. In the era of the Book of Songs, it was already a very important plant for people's livelihood, and it was usually used in the "moxibustion" of acupuncture and moxibustion. There are as many as 300 to 400 species of wormwood in the world.
The English name can be called Asiatic wormwood or mugwood. There are wild wormwood and home wormwood. Wild wormwood is recorded in the ancient Yanglo-Saxon books of the West and is considered to be one of the nine sacred herbs bestowed by God Woden.
