Chicken Seekh Kabab is a flavorful and juicy minced chicken kebab that originates from the Indian subcontinent, particularly popular in North Indian, Pakistani, and Mughlai cuisine. "Seekh" refers to the metal skewer on which the kebab is traditionally shaped and grilled. It is made by combining finely minced chicken with finely chopped onions, green chilies, ginger, garlic, fresh coriander, and a blend of aromatic spices including cumin, garam masala, red chili powder, and sometimes a touch of turmeric. The mixture is molded into long cylindrical shapes around the skewer and then grilled or roasted until golden brown with a slightly charred exterior. Chicken Seekh Kabab is tender, succulent, and bursting with smoky, spiced flavors. It is commonly served as an appetizer or main course with naan, roti, or rice, accompanied by mint chutney, onion rings, lemon wedges, and a side salad. This dish is a favorite at barbecues, parties, and restaurants, offering a healthier and lighter alternative to red meat kebabs.
