🛍 Product Information :
It originates from natural mutations found in wild or local Hainan lychee trees and was carefully selected and propagated through grafting and selective breeding starting in the late 1990s. Unlike ordinary lychees, the seed is either completely absent or reduced to a tiny, aborted remnant, making it exceptionally convenient to eat.
The fruit typically develops in pairs (並蒂果). It features thin, bright red to rose-red skin and translucent, crystal-clear flesh that is firm yet juicy, with almost no fibrous residue. The taste is notably sweet (often reaching 16° Brix or higher), with a clean, fragrant tropical aroma, subtle floral notes, and a mild refreshing tartness. The flesh is abundant and the edible portion is significantly higher than seeded varieties.
Key highlights:
Culinary uses: Excellent eaten fresh. Also suitable for light desserts, fruit platters, chilled soups, or as a refined ingredient in modern Chinese and fusion dishes. Its clean sweetness pairs well with mild dairy, light syrups, or sparkling drinks.
Storage tip: Highly perishable. Keep refrigerated and consume within a few days for best quality. Avoid prolonged room-temperature storage in hot weather.
