Sweet and Sour Onion Plum Steak

Ingredients: 2 pieces of steak, half an onion, 2 tbsp Guanzhen black rice vinegar, 2 tsp tomato juice, 1 tbsp minced garlic, 1 tbsp rock sugar, 1/2 tbsp Guanzhen light soy sauce, 1/2 tsp sugar, 1 salt /4 tsp

Marinade: 1 tbsp cornstarch, 1/2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp Huadiao wine, 1/2 tsp sugar, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper

1. Use the back of a knife to pat loose the plum head steak, add the above marinade and marinate for 30 minutes.

2. Heat a wok over medium-high heat, add a little oil, add in the plum steak and fry until golden brown on both sides, turn to low heat and fry until cooked through. Dish up.

3. Add a little more oil, add minced garlic and onion and fry until fragrant.

4. Add in black rice vinegar, light soy sauce, tomato juice, sugar, rock sugar and salt and cook until the rock sugar dissolves.
