🥘 Cooking recipes and practices

Shiu Choy (or Chinese Cabbage) is known as the king of vegetables, it is so nutritious! The Shiu Choy is getting better and better as it boils. This flavor of cooking shiu choy, vermicelli shrimp is simple enough - just these 3 ingredients! Let's learn how to make it!

Prepare the ingredients

Serving size 4

One medium-sized Chinese cabbage
Two small packs of vermicelli
A handful of dried shrimp
Ginger 3 sliced piece
Half bowl of water
Half teaspoon salt
Light soy sauce and half tea soy sauce

Cooking steps

30 minutes

1 Tear off the Shiu Choy (Chinese Cabbage) slices one by one, wash them clean, drain the water, cut into pieces and set aside. Soak the vermicelli in water until soft, but do not discard the water. Wash the dried shrimps, then soak them in clean water until soft. The dried shrimp water should be used together and should not be poured out, just keep them separate.

2 Add a little oil and three slices of ginger and fry until fragrant, then add the soaked dried shrimps and add water separately. Stir-fry until fragrant, then add the Shiu Choy and stir-fry for a few more times before adding the vermicelli and dried shrimp water. Add another small bowl of water and cover for about three minutes. Bake over medium-low heat until soft. Season, taste, and if ok, you can serve it on a plate.

3. This dish is sweet, beneficial and auspicious, and is most suitable for Chinese New Year.
