A LA CARTE

Hosui pear is a renowned early-season cultivar of the Nashi (Asian pear), originating from Japan. The medium-to-large fruits weigh about 200-300 grams, with yellowish-brown skin sometimes blushed red, and fine, white, exceptionally juicy flesh that's sweetly balanced with subtle acidity and rich flavor. Known as the "queen of pears" for its superior taste and storage qualities, it's packed with fiber and minerals, promoting gut health and hydration. Harvested from late summer to early autumn, it's primarily grown in Japan's Ibaraki and Nagano prefectures, as well as in Taiwan and the US. Ideal for eating fresh, in salads, desserts, or even in marinades.
