Guava Leaf (番石榴葉), also known as Psidium guajava leaf, comes from the tropical guava tree. It is widely used in traditional herbal medicine and daily wellness practices. Fresh or dried guava leaves can be brewed into a fragrant, mildly astringent tea with a subtle fruity aroma. Rich in polyphenols, flavonoids, and antioxidants, guava leaf tea is popularly consumed to help regulate blood sugar, support lipid metabolism, aid digestion, and soothe stomach discomfort. How to Brew Guava Leaf Tea
Simple Step-by-Step Method:

Ingredients (for 1–2 servings):
- 10–15 fresh guava leaves or 5–8g dried guava leaves
- 500–600ml hot water (90–95°C / just below boiling)

Prepare the leaves: Rinse fresh leaves thoroughly under running water. Dried leaves can be used directly.

- Place the leaves in a teapot or mug.
- Pour hot water over the leaves and cover.
- Steep for 5–10 minutes (longer for stronger flavor; fresh leaves can steep longer).
