It is commonly featured in festive dishes such as “Fatt Choy Ho See” (Fat Choy with Dried Oysters, symbolizing “Good Business and Great Wealth”) or braised with shiitake mushrooms, sea cucumber, and abalone. The “Jin Zhuang” (金裝) designation indicates a premium, elegantly packaged grade (often 4A or 5A quality), known for its glossy black color, smooth and silky texture, and superior cleanliness.
