White Dichroa refers to the dried roots of Dichroa febrifuga (Saxifragaceae) or Mussaenda pubescens (Rubiaceae). Key points:
White Dichroa (commonly referred to as Dichroa febrifuga, Dichroa huang, and Mussaenda pubescens) is the most commonly used medicinal part of the Dichroa genus.
Benefits: Antipyretic, antimalarial, analgesic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-tumor. Clinically, it is used to treat malaria, colds, fevers, pain, sore throats, and rheumatism.
Nature and flavor: Bitter, pungent, cold, and toxic. It enters the lung, heart, and liver meridians and is primarily used to treat malaria, phlegm accumulation, toxic sores, and dysmenorrhea.
Dosage: Take internally as a decoction of 6-10 grams.
