HELP for Domestic Workers  


Features

KFBG provides support to Hong Kong’s migrant domestic workers with the “Connection to Nature for Migrant Domestic Workers in Hong Kong” project.  Acknowledging the contribution of domestic workers to the city and recognising their need for opportunities to enhance their well-being, KFBG provides them with a day to enjoy nature at the Farm.  Every Sunday, around 100 domestic workers engage in activities such as yoga, Zentangle or a Treasure Hunt in the green and peaceful surroundings of KFBG. Participants are picked up by bus in Central and Kowloon, a tasty vegan lunch is provided, and the whole day is free of charge.

Past participants have enjoyed the activities (particularly the yoga) and the chance to explore the farm and make new friends, describing it as “inspiring”, “relaxing” and “a mini-vacation”. 

"This day allows me to temporarily forget the stress, problems, and homesickness, mingle with friends, and make new friends."

Due to the venue capacity, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted via WhatsApp. Attendance is limited to a maximum of 100 participants on a first-come-first-serve basis. The spot is non-transferrable, kindly commit to your registration to avoid food waste.
