Hangju (Chrysanthemum morifolium), aka Gongju, is a perennial herb from Hangzhou/Tongxiang, Zhejiang. 60–100 cm tall; white-yellow flowers with sweet aroma. Slightly cold, sweet-bitter; enters lung & liver. Clears wind-heat, soothes liver, improves vision. Treats colds, headache, hypertension. Best as tea; top-grade “Tongxiang Hangbaiju” is a GI product.
