【Anti-cancer mechanism】
According to experiments conducted by a medical research center in the United States, the phytoestrogens contained in soybeans can inhibit the production of estrogen in animals, and excessive estrogen levels can cause breast cancer. The experiment also suggests that among female mice, the group that regularly consumed soy flour had a 70% lower incidence of breast cancer than the group that did not regularly consume soy flour. The study also found that the proportion of breast cancer in Asian women, especially North Asian women, is only 1/8 of that in American women. The reason for this is probably related to the fact that Asian women's diets are rich in soy products. Asian immigrants who have lived in the United States for a long time or their next generation have a significantly increased rate of breast cancer due to changes in the traditional Asian diet. Dr. Osur, a tumor biochemist at the Egyptian Cancer Research Institute, extracted a protease from soybeans that has the effect of inhibiting cancer cells. Preliminary studies and experiments on animals have shown that this protease can dissolve cancer cells and render them inactive. Soybeans contain phytohemagglutinin (PHA), which has an agglutinating effect on ascites lymphocytes (YAC) caused by Molonly virus and has anti-tumor activity.
