BT Powder - is a microbial insecticide, which is a further improved Bacillus thuringiensis (also known as Suli bacteria), which is particularly effective against Lepidoptera pests/caterpillars, especially the larval stage. The toxic protein crystals of Bacillus thuringiensis are sprayed and distributed on the plants. Within one hour after the pests eat, their mouthparts will be paralyzed due to poisoning, and the bacterial toxins will damage the intestines, and then stop eating, leading to death within two days. Regular application can inhibit the reproduction of pests. Suitable for planting vegetables, flowers, trees and lawns. BT Powder and Sanyi Neem Oil can be mixed for improved functions. Both are produced by CERTIS in the United States and OMRI organic certified.

Dilution ratio - 1:1000, apply once every 7 days.

What is Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt)?

Bt is a bacterium that occurs naturally in soils around the world. To reproduce, the spores produced by Bt grow into new bacteria. Bt spores contain proteins that are toxic to insect larvae. Since Bt comes from natural sources, it is called a biopesticide. In general, biopesticides tend to be less risky than typical man-made pesticides.

There are many types of Bt. Each type or strain affects a different group of insects. Target insects include Beetles, Flies (including mosquitoes), and Butterflies. It is used to kill the larvae of beetles and mosquitoes, black flies and moths. Bt is also toxic to nematodes.

Bt has been registered by the US Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) as a pesticide since 1961. The U.S. EPA requires routine testing to ensure the absence of unwanted toxins and bacteria. Some of these unwanted toxins can be harmful to non-target animals and people.

**Special note: Organic pesticides are mainly used for stomach poison and repellent functions, with contact killing as a supplement, so it is best to start applying them from the prevention stage to give plants better resistance. If insect and fungal pests occur, it is necessary to apply the pesticide immediately. It is ideal to use it before the eggs hatch and in the larval stage.

When diluting pesticides, first add 1 part of the pesticide to 1 part of water and stir thoroughly, then add the final amount of water. When spraying, you also need to stir or shake the sprayer from time to time to allow the drug and water to be fully mixed.

It is best to apply the pesticide in the morning and evening, and avoid applying it at noon when the sun is strong and the temperature is high.

Do not dilute too much unnecessary amount of the drug, and the diluted drug cannot be preserved.

Please wear appropriate protective clothing and a mask when spraying pesticides.
