"BIG 816" is a work by Taiwanese director Wei Desheng. It describes the experience of six children with terminal cancer who face life and death together and fight against the disease together. Six children and their families from different social classes, from conflict with each other to finally supporting each other, let the audience feel the beauty of life again!

BIG also means Being is Gift. Sick children wander between life and death every day, so living/existing is already a precious gift!

This is a cute, heart-warming, and healing movie. It is sad but not despairing. It allows new life to accompany death and allows everyone to regain strength in difficult situations!

Wei Desheng shot this movie because he saw cancer patients not with sad faces, but with optimism. This shocked and inspired him a lot. It turns out that the weakest beings have the strongest desire to survive!

In fact, Wei Desheng has made two movies that are known as the light of Taiwanese movies: "Cape No. 7" and "Sediq Bale". However, in the past few years, he has faced many blows to his movie making, and he has lost both manpower and money. He lost his life, and his life hit rock bottom. Now he is back on the road through a heart-warming sketch BIG. He sometimes sighs, but he also has a calm and calm feeling that a thousand sails have passed!
