食品安全

食品安全中心早前在兩款芝麻油中驗出含有可能致癌的環氧乙烷，呼籲市民勿食用兩款意大利進口芝麻油，並須把產品下架回收，若已購入受影響產品，亦應停止食用。美國毒物與疾病登記署指，若持續數月至數年期間吸入低劑量的環氧乙烷，會引起眼睛、皮膚和呼吸道受到刺激，影響神經系統，導致頭痛、噁心、嘔吐、記憶力減退和肢體麻木等情況出現。已有證據顯示，短時間内吸入高劑量環氧乙烷下，甚至增流產的風險

 

健康的選擇

雖然芝麻油這次鬧了場風波，被驗出含致癌物，而且坊間芝麻油品種多，出處多，選擇多，令消費者眼花撩亂不知如何選擇。但只要慎選產品，看清楚標籤，大部份還是安全健康的。
