在2024年，本地報章及色安中心食物環境衞生署食物安全中心在九月二十五日，透過恆常的食物監測計劃，發現有一個預先包裝冷藏寶石魚樣本檢出獸藥氯霉素，該樣本產品已流出市場。並且要求，亦應立即停止使用或出售。
涉事的「錦田魚場」屬漁農自然護理署「優質養魚場計劃」中已登記養魚場之一，也屬於我們平台銷售的同一款產品，其魚場是室內魚類養殖場，主張以有機環境及方式飼養，無激素、無污染、無重金屬、無有害物質。
食安中心目前已知會涉事商戶上述違規事項，有關經銷商已按中心指示對受影響批次產品進行回收，同時指會繼續跟進事件。
In 2024, local newspapers and the Centre for Food Safety (CFS) of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department discovered on September 25th, through a routine food surveillance program, that a pre-packaged, refrigerated Jade Fish (寶石魚) sample tested positive for the veterinary drug chloramphenicol (氯霉素). This sample had already entered the market. The CFS requested that its use and sale be immediately halted.
The "Kam Tin Fish Farm" involved is one of the fish farms registered under the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department's "AFFS Quality Fish Farm Scheme," and it also produces the same product sold on our platform. Their fish farm is an indoor fish farm, advocating for organic farming methods and environments, and claiming no hormones, no pollution, no heavy metals, and no harmful substances.
The CFS has notified the relevant merchant of the aforementioned violation. The distributor has recalled the affected batch of products as instructed by the CFS and indicated that it will continue to follow up on the incident.
錦田魚場原屬有機魚場，獲香港有機資源中心認證有限公司的有機水產養殖認證資格，到2023年9月4日。然而，根據我們公司內部資料，我們公司也收到顧客查詢，及食環署熱線來電，說有客人知會他們我們公司網店銷售違規產品，我們於9月27日暫停供應該產品，及後我們跟供應漁場查詢，負責人韋先生親自向我們求證，他對產品違規一事，並非食安中心新聞公告所述，在产品測試，最後發現並沒有違規禁藥，漁護署也派人員到漁場實地了解，無法求證養殖的寶石魚及農場有參與違規。
我們通報食環署，由於事情沒有出現違規的情況，我們於2024年9月28日，將產品重新上架。對於食環署發出安全風險通告，並無後續行動及交代後續進展，讓養殖戶及經銷商未能獲得最新及準確資訊。另外對於新聞業界的操守，並無跟進，只是硬梆梆抄新聞稿的態度作保留，部份新聞業界，在交代事情的順序，例如，因為魚場違規獸藥，被有機資源中心吊銷牌至牌照事情始末顛倒，並非屬實。

Kam Tin Fish Farm was originally an organic fish farm, holding organic aquaculture certification from the Hong Kong Organic Resource Centre Certification Limited, valid until September 4, 2023. However, according to our company's internal information, we received inquiries from customers and calls from the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) hotline, stating that customers had informed them that our online store was selling non-compliant products. We suspended supplying the product on September 27th. Subsequently, we contacted the fish farm, and the person in charge, Mr. Wai, personally verified with us that the product's non-compliance was not as stated in the Food Safety Centre's press release. Product testing revealed no prohibited drugs. The Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) also sent personnel to the fish farm for on-site investigation but could not verify whether the farmed jewel fish or the farm itself were involved in any violations.
We notified the FEHD, and since no violations were found, we relisted the product on September 28, 2024. The FEHD's safety risk notice lacked follow-up action and updates, leaving fish farmers and distributors without the latest and most accurate information. Furthermore, regarding the ethical conduct of the news industry, there has been no follow-up; instead, there's a rigid adherence to news reports. Some news outlets have reversed the order of events, for example, reversing the sequence of events in their reporting—such as the revocation of a fish farm's license by the Organic Resource Centre due to illegal use of veterinary drugs, which is not true.

The fish farm involved is listed as Kam Tin North by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department in AFFS Fish Farm List up to 2026 (present), and its owner is Mr. Leung. Its license has not been revoked because of the incident.
