Cha Kueh, also written as Cha Guo, is the most common Hakka Kueh. The top layer is glutinous rice flour. Traditionally, a little tea leaves are added, and then stuffed into the bread. It is sweet (such as bean paste, peanuts, sesame seeds), and salty (such as eyebrow beans, gree beans, pork).

Chiu Je organises parent-child day trips from time to time [May rice dumplings, glutinous rice magnets, strawberries, etc.]. The venue is mainly in Yuen Long. You can also in the field to pick corn or seasonal organic vegetables. According to the season, her old man will make salted tofu, tofu dessert, pizza, home-made tea fruit, radish cake and jam. Coupled with excellent craftsmanship and more and more consumers.

🛍  Product Information :




Sister Chiu's hometown tea fruit mainly uses glutinous rice flour as the skin, and comes in two flavors, salty and sweet. Salty tea cakes are paired with tofu, peanuts, green onions and ginger. The shallots used were self-heavy shallots; the sweet filling was mainly peanuts and sugar. The glutinous rice flour and hot water are continuously kneaded until the filling can be filled, and then put in the filling and wrapped. Cook for 10-12 minutes and it's done.

How to store tea cake

 ❌ Tea cake should not be sun-dried and should not be placed in the refrigerator.  Can be stored at room temperature for a short period of time.
 ❌ Do not reheat the tea cake or glutinous rice cake, the sugar will melt and the skin will turn into a lily.
 💯 If you can't eat it in the sun, you can put it in the freezer. When you eat it, let it cool at room temperature for more than 4 hours, and it can return to softness.
 💯 Add plastic wrap to prevent water loss.
