The local fruits in Hong Kong have a very good market. The red-flesh dragon fruit grown on Ngor-Je Mountain, Mr. Zheng's lychee, longan, yellow peel and silver linden, and Sterculia Nobilis (Pan Po)  are also special!

Pan Po comes from Zi Tin Village, Tuen Mun, Lam Tei Cooperative Farm, and Fu Kam Organic Dragon Fruit Farm.

Ping Po (Chinese: Ping Po; Pinyin: píngpó; Thai: เกาลัดไทย), (scientific name: Sterculia monosperma), also known as Chinese chestnut, Thai chestnut, seven sisters, and eichhornia, is a deciduous tropical parasol Nut tree of the genus.


Its origin is southern China (Guangdong, Guangxi and Yunnan) and Taiwan, but it is now cultivated in a common tree in northern Thailand, northern Vietnam, mountainous Malaysia and Indonesia, as well as northern Laos and Myanmar in Shan State. In China this seed is one of the traditional foods of the Qixi Festival, 'seven nights', also known as 'seventh sister's birthday' (七姐誕). Together with Qi Jie Guo (also known as "Fake Ping Po"), both are commonly used sacrifices for the birthday of the Seven Sisters in southern China.

Note: Pingpo is a safe food material for humans, but it is toxic to cats and dogs and other animals. A small amount can cause acute renal failure and nerve damage, and it is extremely likely to be fatal. Because the cause of the toxicity is still unknown, there is no antidote and effective treatment. .
