Description

Parsley is a plant of the genus Parsley of the Umbelliferae family, smooth. Root fusiform, sometimes thick. The stem is round, slightly furrowed, up to 100 cm high, the leaves are dark green, the surface is bright, the basal leaves and the lower part of the stem have long stalks, the lobes are lanceolate, and the umbels are smooth; the involucre is linear, pointed, leathery ; Umbrella has flowers, small involucre linear or linear diamond-shaped, fruit ovate, gray-brown color, flowering in June, fruiting in July.

Planting method:

[Sunshine] In a sunny, partly shaded place, it can be placed in a half-sunlight place in summer, and a full-sun place in winter. Parsley grows fast in winter, and the more sunshine, the more beautiful

[Moisture] The potted plants should become lighter before watering. If it is the size of a 5-inch pot, it will be approximately 600 grams before watering and about 1000 grams after watering. If it is a 3-inch pot, it will be approximately 70 grams before watering. Approximately 140 grams after watering, if the leaves begin to turn yellow or the base of the plant begins to soften, please pay attention to whether the soil is too wet. Please reduce the frequency of watering instead of the amount of water.

[Soil] Soft and fertile soil. Bark, volcanic rock, and green zeolite can be spread on the soil. These can keep the soil surface moisturizing, and will not grow weeds, and can also reduce the incidence of small insects. If you need additional soil, you can use our herb cultivation soil. When you change the pot, you can add fertilizer to the bottom so that the roots of the plant can absorb the fertilizer, and the plant will be healthier.

[Fertilizer] Parsley likes cool weather. You can give leaf viewing fertilizer twice the recommended value in winter, and double the recommended value in summer.

[Humidity] There is no need to spray water on parsley deliberately. In summer, keep it dry, and in winter, there is no problem with humid air and rain outdoors.

[Temperature] Parsley likes autumn and winter weather in Taiwan. The weather is cool and grows fast.

The new leaves of parsley grow from the middle. If you want to eat parsley leaves, harvest the middle leaves, and if you want to season them, the outer leaves are more dense.
