The heading Rosa lettuce prefers a cold climate, and its growth temperature is 15-20°C. It is most suitable for environments with large temperature differences between day and night and low night temperatures. The suitable temperature for the bulb is 10-16℃, and the temperature exceeds 25℃. Due to the high temperature inside the leaf bulb, the heart leaf will be necrotic and rotted, and the growth will be poor. The germination temperature of seeds is 15-20℃, higher than 25℃, due to the hindrance of seed coat water absorption and poor germination. Rosa lettuce needs to be treated at low temperature when sowing in summer. After soaking the seeds, place them in the freezer of the refrigerator to accelerate the germination. After the buds are white, they should be sown. The new high-fat film dressing should be used before sowing. Loose-leaf rosa lettuce is more heat-resistant, but it also grows poorly in high-temperature seasons. Rosa lettuce favors slightly acidic soil (pH 6-6.3 is the best), and it is best to cultivate in sandy loam or clay loam with strong water retention capacity and good drainage. Rosa lettuce requires more nitrogen fertilizer, so more organic fertilizer should be applied to the base fertilizer before planting, and no organic fertilizer is applied during the growth process. There should be no shortage of water during the growth period, especially the heading period of the heading Rosa lettuce, which requires sufficient water. For example, if there is a shortage of water early in the dry season, not only the leaf bulbs are small, but the leaf taste is bitter and the quality is poor.
