Product Description：Water chestnut cake; Simplified Chinese: Water chestnut cake; Cantonese: máhtài gōu is a sweet Cantonese snack made from chopped water chestnuts. When eating snacks, the cake is usually cut into square slices and fried on a frying pan. The cake is soft but retains its shape after frying. Sometimes the cake is made with chopped water chestnuts embedded in each square, with the vegetables visible. One of the main trademark features of this dish is its translucent appearance.

It is one of the standard dishes in Hong Kong dim sum cuisine and is also available in some overseas Chinatown restaurants.
