Australian White Peach refers to a white-fleshed peach variety originating from Australia, renowned for its snow-white or pale yellow flesh, high sweetness, and rich aroma. Australia is one of the major peach-producing regions in the Southern Hemisphere, with its season typically running from November to April (Australian summer), perfectly complementing the off-season for peaches in the Northern Hemisphere, thus leading to frequent exports to Asian markets such as Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.


Appearance: The skin is creamy white or pale yellow, often with a pinkish blush, with little fuzz and a smooth, delicate surface.


Taste: Crisp and juicy when unripe, similar to Kubo peaches; becomes sweeter and more juicy as it softens, with low acidity and a pure sweetness (sweeter than yellow-fleshed peaches, with no noticeable sourness).


Flavor: Strong aroma, often described as "super fragrant," with a sweet and refreshing taste, ideal for eating fresh.


Common varieties: Snow Angel, Spring Snow, Sunlit Snow, White Lady, Snow King, Glacier, etc. Some low-acid white-fleshed varieties are particularly popular.

Similar to Australian white nectarines, but while white peaches have a small amount of fuzz on their surface, nectarines are completely smooth and hairless. Australian peaches are generally of high quality, with strict sugar content control, and are often considered high-end imported fruits.
