Yamanashi JA Shine Muscat Grapes, also known as Shine Muscat or Muscat Grapes, is a premium seedless grape variety produced by JA Fruits Yamanashi in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. Developed in 2006 as "Budou Norin 21-go" through crossbreeding with Muscat of Alexandria and other varieties, it thrives in Yamanashi's fertile deciduous fruit orchards and climate with significant day-night temperature differences. The grapes are large and plump, with thin, translucent green skin that's easy to peel and edible. The flesh is crisp, juicy, and bouncy, boasting a sweetness of up to 20 Brix with a distinctive floral and musky aroma, seedless and fiber-free for a refreshing, tender texture. Grown using the "one-cluster-per-vine" method to concentrate nutrients, it's low-yield with excellent storage and transport qualities, making it a luxury gift fruit.
