Lam Cheong Kee was established in 2012. It once set a record of selling 100,000 fish eggs in three days on Kwai Lam Street in Sham Shui Po, which caused a buzz in the city. The birth of Lam Cheong Kee originated from the owner Lin Sheng's pursuit of the taste and quality of food. One year, Lin Sheng returned to Hong Kong from overseas and thought, "Why is the food now not as delicious as before?" Why not try adjusting the proportions and combinations of some ingredients yourself? In order to increase its umami flavor, I hope to bring back the memories of delicious food in my childhood. The result is not disappointing, he succeeded! Lin Changji's fish eggs, spicy sauce, shrimp paste, and curry sauce are all prepared by Lin Sheng himself.

In the food manufacturing process, Lam Cheong Kee's priority is not the cost of ingredients, but whether the ingredients are of high quality. Based on this principle, fish eggs with a proportion of 80% fish to meat are released. Taking shrimp paste as an example, Lin Sheng searched many places and countries and tried many different varieties before finally deciding to use cherry blossom shrimp from a certain place to make shrimp paste. Even the soy sauce used in shrimp fried noodles is a unique flavor prepared by Lin Sheng himself. This is Lin Sheng’s insistence on making delicious food.
