🛍 Product Information :
Thai eggs, commonly known as Thai brown eggs, are a popular imported egg variety widely available in supermarkets in Hong Kong and other Asian regions. They come from large-scale farms in Thailand and feature a distinctive brown (or light brown) shell. This shell color results from the breed of hens commonly raised in Thailand, which are mostly brown-feathered or red-feathered layers (such as Isa Brown or similar breeds). Nutritionally, Thai brown eggs are comparable to white eggs or other brown eggs, with no significant differences in protein, vitamins, or minerals. Some people note a slightly milder flavor and clearer egg white compared to certain other varieties. They offer good value for money and come in various sizes (medium, large, extra-large), making them versatile for boiling, frying, steaming, or Thai-style dishes like Kai Jeow (Thai omelette). Common brands in Hong Kong include SELECT, Cheer Fresh, and Farm Table.
