Product Description:The main ingredients are glutinous rice dough, to which tea powder, mugwort, ramie or mashed leaves of chicken vine are added to give it a fragrant aroma. Ingredients such as pumpkin or beetroot, or other ingredients can be mixed into the dough to make different creations. Color and taste of tea fruit. You can choose sweet or salty fillings. Sweet fillings are mainly bean paste, peanuts, sesame or eyebrow beans, while salty fillings are usually eyebrow beans, mung beans, fried pork, fried mushrooms, dried shrimps or salted duck eggs.
Cha Kueh, also written as Cha Guo, is the most common Hakka Kueh. The outer layer is made of glutinous rice flour. Traditionally, some crushed tea leaves are added to the dough and then filled with fillings. It is sweet (such as bean paste, peanuts, sesame seeds) and salty.
