The Fish Marketing Organization (FMO) is a financially independent, non-profit statutory body established under the Marine Fish (Marketing) Ordinance (Chapter 291) of the Laws of Hong Kong. It was established in 1946 as the only organization providing marine fish marketing services in Hong Kong. The relevant regulations stipulate that all fresh marine fish in Hong Kong must be unloaded on land and sold wholesale at the fish wholesale markets under the Fish Marketing Organization. There are currently seven fish wholesale markets in Hong Kong. The headquarters is located at 102 Shek Pai Wan Road, Tin Wan, Aberdeen.
