古代醫家對枸杞頭的食養功效頗多稱讚，如《藥性論》認為枸杞頭能「補益精諸不足，易顏色，變白，明目，安神」。《食療本草》也說其「堅筋耐老，補益筋骨」，說明枸杞頭有延緩衰老的作用。

枸杞頭還適合發熱頭暈、口乾煩渴、高血壓病、頭昏腦漲、熱毒瘡癤者食用；還適合目赤腫痛、紅眼病、夜盲症、翳障目暗、視物昏花、視力減退等眼病患者食用，如眼澀痛有翳者，可用枸杞頭100 克、車前葉 (即田灌草) 100 克煮熟食用。枸杞頭是功效諸多的良藥。

🌱 Producer introduction :

Mrs. Lam used to be the representative farmer of the annual fisher, farmers and food carnival, with a cheerful and sunny smile. Mrs. Lam and her husband has been running an organic farm for more than 10 years. Although there is a master to help him, one person has to take care of all the work of farming, harvesting and sales. As she gets older, she even falls asleep when she opens the stall. Many friends are very distressed for him. Every Sunday, there are volunteer Ming Je who decide to give up their rest time every weekend to help used to be the representative farmer of the annual fisher, check files. His crops and yields are very rich, and he sells crops at Mei Foo Organic Farm and Kam Sheung Road West Rail Station on Sunday and evening respectively.

Mrs Lam’s Organic Farm is in Sha Tin Hang. In 2015, the government proposed the Kam Tin South Development Plan to recover 12.3 hectares of land and plan to build 8,000 public housing units. Sha Tin Hang, where Mrs Lam is located, is one of the reclaimed farmlands.

🛍 Product Information :

The wolfberry tree is a low shrub with thorny branches and many branches. Li Shizhen of the Ming Dynasty said in Compendium of Materia Medica: "The leaves of wolfberry picked in spring are called Tianjingcao; the flowers picked in summer are called Changshengcao; the seeds picked in autumn are called wolfberry; the roots picked in winter are called Wolfberry Root."

Here are some recommended Wolfberry Root head diets:

For those with astringent eyes and cloudy eyes, 100 grams of Wolfberry Root head and 100 grams of plantain can be cooked and eaten;

For acute ocular conjunctivitis, use 50 grams of Wolfberry Root head, 1 egg, add a little seasoning, make soup, and take it once a day;
For those with sore waist and knees and weak yang qi, use 500 grams of Wolfberry Root head, 1 pair of sheep kidneys, 100 grams of rice, add onions and other condiments, and cook porridge for consumption.

Wash 250 grams of fresh Wolfberry Root head and 250 grams of fresh shepherd's purse, soak in warm boiled water for 15 minutes, take out and chop them, stir in a masher to make a slurry, filter with gauze to extract the juice, and boil over low heat. Take the morning and afternoon. Nourishes yin and calms the liver, suitable for premenstrual headaches caused by yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity.
