🛍 Product Information:
Typically, the dark purple roots of beets are cooked, roasted, or eaten raw, either on their own or with any salad greens. The green leafy part of the beetroot is also edible. The young leaves can be eaten raw in salads, while the mature leaves are often boiled or steamed so that they have a flavor and texture similar to spinach. Beetroot can be roasted, boiled or steamed, peeled and eaten hot with or without cream; cooked, pickled and served cold as a condiment; or peeled, shredded raw and eaten in a salad. Pickled beets are a traditional food in many countries.
