What are the precautions of using and maintaining the Amway Queen Cookware Set?
Usage and Maintenance of Amway Queen Cookware
Use of Amway Queen Cookware
1. Use low or medium flame to cook. To pre-heat the cookware, just heat it with medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes. Do not pre-heat the cookware for too long when it is empty to avoid damage.
2. Choose a stove of appropriate size.
3. Do not cook at a high temperature exceeding 200°C, which may damage the cookware.
4. Do not use a lid that is too small, or place the lid directly on the food in the cookware.
5. Do not put the hot lid directly on the stove or sink.
6. Do not cut food in the cookware to prevent scratching the surface.
7. Do not use the cookware to store food.
8. Do not let the cookware contact salty or acidic foods for a long time, which may cause corrosion.
9. Do not put the cookware into the oven (the maximum heat tolerance temperature of the handles and knobs is 200° C)
10. Avoid putting salt directing on the cookware. If you need to add salt, you should sprinkle it directly on the food or in the soup.
Cleaning of Amway Queen Cookware
11. After using the cookware, wash it with Dish Drops Concentrated Dishwashing Liquid and hot water as soon as possible. You can also use a stainless steel soft wire brush to clean the inner surface and bottom of the cookware.
12. When salt or water stains appear, pour a little vinegar or lemon juice on the stain, then wipe it with a paper towel, and finally wash it off with Dish Drops Concentrated Dishwashing Liquid.
13. When cooking stewed meat or seeing stubborn residues, use concentrated detergent to soak in hot water for a period of time before washing.
14. Do not use any steel brushes, stainless steel soft wire brushes or cleaning products containing abrasive ingredients to scrub the mirror surface of the body to prevent scratches.
Use of handles
15. Regularly check the handles to make sure that the screws on the cookware are tight. If they are damaged, replace them immediately.
16. If the cookware has been severely dropped, please reconfirm whether the attachments of the handles are complete before use. If you find any looseness, please replace it immediately.
17. Do not use a stove that is too large to prevent damage to the handles caused by direct heating.
Can the Amway Queen™ Cookware be used for high heat cooking?
Not recommend. Because if the heat is too high, it is easy to cause the metal to peel off and damage, especially the pure aluminum metal layer in the Amway Queen™ cookware. In the case of high heat cooking, the pure aluminum layer may soften and fall off between the metal interlayers, causing deformation of the cookware and affecting the normal use of the cookware.
The Amway Queen™ Cookware is made of 18:8 high-quality stainless steel, which has high heat transfer efficiency. Equipped with the unique Vitalok™, the cookware is recommended to use with medium or low heat and less water (even water-free) cooking, and can avoid the wear and tear of the cookware due to high heat. Low moisture cooking method can retain the flavours and colours, it also helps to save energy, which is more environmentally friendly.
How to clean the Amway Queen Cookware?
When just finished cooking, if the cookware is rinsed with cold water immediately, regardless of its material, it is easy to deform due to the meeting of high temperature and strong cold. Therefore, the cleaning work should be done after the cookware is fully cooled. Between cooking of each dish, if you want to remove the residues in the cookware, you can wash it with warm water. In addition, all metals and steel immersed in water for too long will cause rust. The so-called "stainless steel" does not mean that it will not rust. It is less prone to rust than ordinary steel. Therefore, do not clean Amway Queen cookware and utensils by soaking.
What should I do if the cover is attached to the sink?
Please pay special attention when using the cookware. Unless the lid is placed upside down, do not place the lid that is still hot on the sink or any countertop. If the lid is tightly clasped on the sink, please gently rotate the lid before picking it up, or before moving the lid, cover the lid with a wet hot towel for about one minute to loosen the lid (please be aware of the temperature of the towel when picking up the lid to avoid burning of your hands), do not force pick up the lid.
What does the warranty service of Amway Queen™ Cookware include?
1. Quality Assurance - Amway Queen™ Cookware is made of the finest 18:8 chrome/nickel stainless steel. Each Amway Queen™ Cookware is developed by professional technicians, and the product quality has been tested to ensure its best. For non-commercial use of this product by the original user, Amway will provide repair service, free replacement or refund if the product or accessories are defective or defective in workmanship at its discretion. In such cases, Amway will not charge for repair fee, service fee or parts fee. However, please note that this warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, or by accident, misuse or abuse of the product, and repairs will be charged for such damage. The original user must return the damaged product or accessories to Amway to enjoy the warranty service.
2. Accessories Replacement Service - If the handle, lid knob or other accessories are accidentally damaged, the user can purchase the new accessories for replacement.
3. Satisfaction Guarantee - Amway Queen™ Cookware carries the Amway Satisfaction Guarantee. If a product is decided to be defective or not satisfactory, Distributors / Privileged Customers can exchange or return it to Amway within 90 and 30 days from the purchase date respectively. Satisfaction Guarantee does not cover damage caused by accident, or damage caused by improper use or misuse of the Amway Queen™ Cookware by the user or others.
