Rocket vegetable has strong adaptability to the soil and can grow in almost any soil, but sandy loam or loam with loose and fertile soil, water and fertilizer retention, and good aeration is suitable.
Cultivation Techniques
(1) Cultivation season and cultivation method. Rocket vegetables can be cultivated in open field, hydroponics, or sprout production. After 3 days, the sunshade net and other coverings should be removed in time. Generally, the seedlings can be harvested within 4-5 days.
Field management
Rocket vegetable seedlings with 2-3 slices can be combined with thinning and fixed seedlings to harvest young plants. When thinning and fixing seedlings, the weak and inferior seedlings should be removed, and the weeds in the field should be removed. After thinning and fixed seedlings are completed, topdressing is appropriate depending on the growth of the plants. Top dressing is mainly urea quick-acting fertilizer, and top dressing is performed every 7 days. It is not advisable to topdress dilute manure water 5-7 days before harvest, so as not to affect the quality. 'Rocket vegetables have a higher water requirement. During the growth period, the soil should be kept as moist as possible. Except for rainy days, it needs to be watered every day to keep the leaves tender and reduce its strong spicy and bitter taste.

Rocket vegetables grow rapidly, and timely harvesting is the key to high quality and high yield. Seedlings can be harvested about 35 days after sowing.
