The current production of eggs with selenium function makes the vegetables and fish beside Fish in ponds are rich in "active selenium", hoping to popularize health-care foods to benefit more people.

🛍  Product Information :

Selenium is found in the soil, and soils around the world have different levels of selenium, and therefore plants contain different levels of selenium. Generally speaking, lean meat, persimmons, garlic, seafood, green onions, pumpkins, etc. in food contain a lot of selenium. The selenium content of animal products (about 0.4-1.5μg/g) is higher than that of plants; the selenium content of general plant cereals can range from <0.1μg/g─>0.8μg/g; in marine organisms, the selenium content is also More than plants, but because fish (especially fish containing mercury in the body) will form mercury-selenium complex, resulting in extremely low bioavailability of selenium, so although the content of selenium in fish is high, the utilization of selenium for fish itself is extremely low Low; as for meat, it will provide 0.1-0.4μg/g; for dairy products, the selenium content is <0.3μg/g.

Also, whole grains and stone fruit seeds are good sources. Selenium intake provided in drinking water is very limited unless water flows through areas of high selenium soil where higher levels are likely.

Selenium in plants enters plants because selenium replaces sulfur. The forms of selenium include methylselenoline, selenine and its metabolites. Selenium is required for animal growth and metoselenine is obtained when eating plants. The form of selenium in the diet depends on the combination of animal and plant foods.

Several human clinical trials and epidemiological studies have investigated the effect of selenium intake on cancer. Selenium as an antioxidant may have a chemopreventive role in cancer risk and may trigger an immune response. At low levels, it is used in the body to produce antioxidant selenoproteins. So it is called "anti-cancer egg" in the market.

Selenium (closely related to iodine, which eggs are rich in) plays an important role in thyroid health. Selenium is a cofactor for three thyroid hormone deiodinases that help activate and deactivate various thyroid hormones and their metabolites. The role of isolated selenium deficiency in Hashimoto's disease thyroid-induced autoimmune response is now being investigated. However, in the case of combined iodine and selenium deficiencies, selenium deficiency was shown to be thyroid protective.

Selenium is a cofactor for the three thyroid hormone deiodinases, helping activate and then deactivate various thyroid hormones and their metabolites. Isolated selenium deficiency is now being investigated for its role in induction autoimmune reactions in thyroid gland in Hashimoto's disease. However, in a case of combined iodine and selenium deficiency, selenium deficiency was shown to play a thyroid-protecting role.

  2. People with severe gastrointestinal disease (eg, Crohn's disease) or who have had a large portion of the small intestine removed are at risk for selenium deficiency.
  3. Iodine nutritional deficiencies. Studies have pointed out that selenium deficiency can worsen the symptoms of iodine deficiency, and proper supplementation of selenium can alleviate the symptoms of iodine deficiency and its impact on the nervous system.
  4. Those who use chemotherapy drugs need supplementation of selenium nutrition. Studies have shown that various forms of selenium can reduce kidney and bone marrow damage caused by chemotherapy drugs (eg cisplatin, cisplatin).

Nutritional value: An egg contains about 6-8 grams of high-quality protein, amino acids, a small amount of cholesterol, vitamin E and D and other micronutrients. In terms of nutrient absorption and digestibility: 100% for boiled eggs; 97% for scrambled eggs, 98% for fried poached eggs, and 30% to 50% for raw food (with bacteria, easy to diarrhea). In terms of vitamin retention rate: ①The method of lower heating temperature: boiled eggs, the nutrition is fully retained; steamed eggs, riboflavin, lutein and other water-soluble vitamins lose less; ②the method of high heating temperature: fried poached eggs Vitamins A, D, E, K and other fat-soluble vitamins and water-soluble vitamins are all lost. As far as the heart is good: boiled eggs, the cooking temperature is not high, and the cholesterol in the yolk is not exposed to oxygen, so it is the most beneficial way of eating for the heart. However, for children, steamed custard and egg drop soup are the most suitable, because these two methods can loosen the protein, which is easily digested and absorbed by children.

Cooking method:Boiled eggs; steamed eggs; fried poached eggs; boiled eggs. The steamed egg puts the egg and the gravy together. There are many egg-to-water ratios in the market, such as 1:1 or 1:1.2, but he believes that 1:1.5 is the best, that is, 1 part of egg and 1.5 parts of water. Beat the eggs into a medium bowl and stir gently while adding the gravy to mix well. Boil water 2.5 cm high in a steamer. When it is just boiling, turn off the heat and heat. The secret is to cover it with tin foil or plastic wrap. You can use tin foil or plastic wrap to cover the water egg for steaming, or cover it with a large plate. This will prevent the sweat from falling down and affect the appearance. The whole process takes 10-12 minutes to steam. If you want to add deliciousness, you can sprinkle onion and soy sauce after steaming.

Special note: Please keep in the refrigerator and consume within 30 days.
