🛍 Product Information:

Chayote, also known as "Buddha's hand", is a kind of melon and vegetable. It belongs to the Cucurbitaceae family. Cantonese people usually cook the ditch in soup. Chayote is crisp and rich in nutrients. Its appearance is pear-shaped, green, about 7.5-10 cm long, with grooves and only one seed. Fruit can be cooked, roasted or eaten raw. Each kilogram of fresh melon contains 5 grams of protein, 1 gram of fat, 30 grams of cellulose, 77 grams of carbohydrates, 220 mg of vitamin C, 0.1 mg of riboflavin, 500 mg of calcium, 320 mg of phosphorus, and 40 mg of iron.

The green asparagus (龍鬚菜) eaten by ordinary people in Taiwan is the young stem of this plant.
